An Update on Hari's Helping Hands (Part 3)
A New Chapter for Community Learning, Emotional Intelligence, and Personal Growth (Still for FREE).
Hey y’all, it’s been a while since I’ve shared an update about Hari’s Helping Hands (HHH). Well, it’s only been two weeks, but still! Today, we’ll take some time to talk about where things currently stand, and what I’ve been working on behind the scenes, and where I hope this platform continues to grow.
First, I want to say thank you for your patience as I continue building this. Hari’s Helping Hands has always been about creating conversations around emotional intelligence, psychology, communication, personal growth, and the different ways we navigate life. As we move into this next chapter, that mission is still the same—but the way we approach it is expanding.
Currently, I have two posts scheduled and ready to go live in September 2026. I’m still working on several additional written pieces before I officially begin recording podcast episodes next month.
Here’s a never-before-seen of the topics we will go over as well this season. Most of these posts will have academic citations and sources, so more credibility the better. I will do my best to keep it entertaining for y’all!
I’ll also be honest: I’ve been experiencing a little bit of creator’s block. Not because I don’t have ideas, but because I’ve been balancing a lot of overstimulation, exhaustion, and life responsibilities. Recently, I also had the pleasure (and by pleasure, I mean absolutely not) of dealing with the Norovirus, and I genuinely felt like I was reliving every difficult pregnancy symptom combined. It was that rough.
But even through those moments, I’m learning something important: rest and consistency have to work together.
I’ve been listening more when people encourage me to slow down. I still struggle with resting because my mind naturally wants to keep creating and building, but I’m realizing that I cannot pour into something meaningful if I completely drain myself in the process.
For now, I’m taking things one step at a time. When creative bursts come, I work on them. I also make sure to take breaks, reflect, and avoid feeding into burnout. The goal is not just to create more, just to create better. 💜
Another personal update: I’ve also been slowly helping piece my mom’s home back together. It has been a reminder that sometimes the things we complain about are things we can actively change when we put action behind our desires.
That lesson applies to life, community, and even this platform.
Hari’s Helping Hands has always been about action. Learning is important, but applying what we learn is where real growth happens.
Expanding the Conversation
One thing I’ve discovered throughout this process is just how much I enjoy discussing workplace psychology and industrial-organizational psychology.
Emotional intelligence is still foundational to everything I do, but I’ve become fascinated by workplace conversations, like the experiences people have, the systems they navigate, and the communication gaps that exist between employees and organizations.
I want to explore more perspectives, including potentially hearing directly from companies, HR professionals, and leadership teams. I think there is value in understanding both sides of the conversation: the people looking for opportunities and the organizations trying to create those opportunities.
Sometimes understanding the other perspective creates room for better communication.
Because of this growth, Hari’s Helping Hands will also begin branching into additional “-ology” topics, including psychology, sociology, biology, technology, and theology (not a lot, just moderate).
I’ve realized that philosophy is often the foundation behind how we teach, research, and understand different subjects. Expanding these conversations allows readers more opportunities to engage with topics that genuinely interest them.
I’ll be creating a voting system soon that will allow the community to help guide future discussions. This is not just about what interests me but also about creating conversations that people actually want to be a part of.
I want readers to share their thoughts, add their perspectives, and help expand these conversations beyond what I originally created.
A Future Built Around Knowledge and Community
One of the biggest goals I have for Hari’s Helping Hands is to create a credible place where people can explore information, learn, and use that knowledge to better themselves and their communities. I have always believed that knowledge is power, but knowledge becomes even more powerful when people use it wisely.
Resources like the CDC, NIH, EBSCO, JSTOR, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Texas HHS have inspired me because they show the importance of accessible, reliable information. My goal is to create content that helps people connect with knowledge in a way that feels human, practical, and meaningful.
Eventually, I would love to conduct research in areas involving employment and technology, specifically looking at the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral effects connected to remote work access, contracting opportunities, and workplace systems. I want to continue studying, growing, and building something that creates value.
Hari’s Helping Hands is not just a project to me. It represents a bridge between where I am today and the type of work I hope to contribute to in the future. It is also a platform where I hope to create a lasting archive—something people can return to, learn from, and build upon.
Community Growth and Collaboration
Starting in August 2026, I will begin accepting collaboration pieces. I’ll be releasing more information soon, along with a clean PDF explaining how collaborations will work. And don’t worry, I want to keep this flexible. The goal is to make room for different voices, experiences, and perspectives.
I may also bring back “Shared Reads” during this season, so thank you for being patient with me as I continue organizing everything behind the scenes.
Long term, I hope Hari’s Helping Hands becomes a place where students, professionals, creators, and lifelong learners can come together. I envision a space where people don’t just consume information, but use it to grow, create, heal, and build something meaningful. One day, I would love to see HHH expand into something larger: a community-centered information platform that supports people who believe knowledge is purposeful and worth sharing.
Even when information becomes older, wisdom does not lose its value. Some lessons remain foundational because they continue helping people understand themselves, their communities, and the world around them.
Anyway, thank you for continuing to support this journey. I’m excited to see where this next chapter leads.
I love y’all and wish y’all a safe summer. I’ll see y’all in two weeks!
