Winter Pause, Gentle Growth 🌙
A nice little update for my subscribers without doing the most (this time). Let's see what's in store today!
Hey y’all! I hope you’re having a good day or evening so far.
As we move into the final weeks of the year, I want to pause and share where I am right now—not as a goodbye, but as a gentle update. I believe communication is part of care, and I want you to feel involved in this journey even while I step back for a little while.
Winter as Growth
Many people see winter as a season of darkness or hibernation. I see it as a time of quiet growth — a chance to heal, to prepare, and to strengthen roots beneath the frost. Even when things feel still, growth is possible. I invite you to reflect on your own winter growth and emotional healing during this season.
What hurdles can you overcome, or what seeds can you plant now, so they bloom when the warmth returns?
Life in Transition
So some of y’all already know about my oddball pregnancy journey. I’ve been juggling this high-risk pregnancy since May–June 2025. The kids and I came back to Texas to get back on our feet, re-establish ourselves, and heal from all the stress we’ve been through. It’s been—and still is—scary, but I’m grateful we’re doing what we need to do to get back on track.
Right now, my mission is to stay ready for the unexpected. After welcoming this baby, I’ll also be moving into a new apartment. It’s a fresh start with room for new ideas and growth. I apologize ahead of time if you respond to my work and I don’t get back to you until a day or so later.
While I’m away, I’ll be focusing on refreshing and polishing my existing work across Ko-fi, Substack, PayHip, Medium, and my podcast. Some posts may be rewritten from start to finish, and you can expect a few with AI audio attached to make them easier to follow along. At the same time, I’ll be finishing my current class before Christmas break, closing what has truly been the most stressful chapter of my life—aka, 2025.
Gratitude & Gentle Continuity
I may still share occasional posts most likely on Tuesdays or Fridays, though not as regularly as before. Like I said, I have to take time to take care of my newest baby kitten potato (the baby). Anyway, thank you for your patience, support, and engagement. For sure, your presence here continues to mean more than words can capture.
Hari’s Helping Hands will return in 2026 with greater organization, clearer direction, and even more heart. In the meantime, I’ll be practicing self-love, reconnecting with family and community, and stepping outside into the cold air.
It’s been a while since I’ve felt the cool breeze punch me in the face multiple times (that’s a good thing because that means I’m still alive and actively pushing through the baby blues).
Stay safe & I love you lots!
Hari G. Darcy (Mama Hari)

Good luck with your winter journey. I hope all your seeds germinate.
