Hey y’all and good morning or evening! If you’re new, welcome. My name is Hari G. Darcy and I’m an ebook author, a newsletter writer, and a former digital artist. I have five lovely kids, whom I call “kittens” or “sweet potatoes”, a unique support system, and a big back when it comes to Cajun food (spicier the better).

I have several announcements to share with y’all. Some of these are still in the nuance phase while others are official additions coming soon (just unsure when). Anyway, take a breather, sit back, relax, and let’s get into this!
🖼️ Subtle Rebranding
The first thing we’ll go over is the subtle rebranding. Hari’s Helping Hands will remain the same. I’m not changing the name or the purpose behind it.
Now, I am working on gentle updates with my newsletter and website. Think cleaner layouts, calmer color tones, and more intuitive experiences between my social media and blogging accounts. The goal is to give y’all a better sense of belonging and authentic value. You know, like cleaning up a messy room before my friends come over and play some videogames or have a sleepover.
📚 Content Production & Quality
I know I’ve mentioned this, but I will start writing longer, more detailed posts with fewer visuals. I’ll still include the text-to-audio option in many posts so you can enjoy the information provided. Of course, these posts will be separate from podcasting, so you can read or listen anytime you’re ready.
Why am I doing this? I want to meet you in the middle. Plus, there’s some awesome wisdom I want to share with y’all!
💸 Tipping & Donations
Okay, so at first, I created a layered paywall to push non-medical listening services I offer. However, y’all [lack of] engagement showed me that life would be better if things were free.
As of November 1st, 2025, I am no longer doing any paywalled content. That means everything is still free to access. Instead of pushing subscriptions or paywalls, I’m inviting readers to tip or donate whatever they feel called to give.
Why am I doing this? Simple! As Hari’s Helping Hands continues to grow, I’m exploring a nonprofit approach that centers accessibility, community care, and sustainable creativity. Your support helps me keep this space open and emotionally generous.
🎁 Custom Giveaway Poll
Alright, so here’s a fun community idea. I’ve been thinking about doing something for y’all, like a custom giveaway. Yep, that means no charge, no shipping costs, and no…bad mom yolks? 😂🤣😂🤣
Anyway, I think this would be a good thing to try. Doing this is not about randomly gifting people things. I see this as a chance to build trust and show authentic gratitude to those who’ve invested time and energy into my work this year.

👩🏾🍼 Baby Update
I feel good randomly sharing this with y’all!
So baby boy’s heavy as heck! He’s nearly 3.5 pounds and we’re getting super closer to the Jan’s due date. At my last appointment with the specialist, they did final scans on him and he’s healthy—no cysts or tumors.
I’m so excited to have him…and to have my body back 😅 because maaaaaan I miss eating the food I want to eat and I’m tired of randomly using spit cans while fighting pica cravings.
Anyway, I wanted to share this with y’all. I feel this space is like a second home to me and I want y’all to feel at home too.
